Brief Biography
Dr. Imdad Hussain is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Public Policy and Governance at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) in Lahore, Pakistan. Since 2001, Dr. Hussain has been associated with the Punjab Urban Resource Center (PURC). He is also a director of Saiban, an NGO working to provide incremental housing for low-income and urban populations. His research and publications have focused on drinking water policy, anti-urbanism, trade and urban planning. He received his PhD in Public Policy from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies in Tokyo in 2010.
