Brief Biography
Dr. Abdul-Azeez Isiaka Adeyemi is an urban planning scholar whose research activities focus on low carbon society, emission reduction from energy use and sustainable campus development. He is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Modibbo Adama University of Technology in Yola, Nigeria. Dr. Abdul-Azeez earned his PhD in Urban & Regional Planning from UTM in 2012 and holds a Master in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is a Member of Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (MNITP), and a Corporate Member of the Nigerian Town Planning Registration Council. He obtained his Higher National Diploma from Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri, Nigeria, where he subsequently lectured until 2006. He has authored many journal articles, chapters in books and other publications.
