Brief Biography
Dr. Yin Soriya is a Senior Lecturer and researcher at the Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He has taught and researched on public governance, organizational capacity as well as public policy analysis and tourism. He has also worked as a consultant and an advisor for various regional and national organizations in Cambodia. His scholarship and publications focus on civil society organizational capacity development, public organizational capacity, poverty reduction strategies, regional collaboration, tourism and disaster risk reduction. Dr. Soriya earned his Bachelor of the Arts in Education and Master of the Arts in Tourism Development from the Royal University of Phnom Penh and received his PhD in Recreational and Natural Resource Science and Management from the University of Minnesota.
